1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and GlobyMarissa governing your use of the app, website, and all related services. Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use GlobyMarissa

  • Users aged 16–18 require parental or guardian consent

  • You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction

3. Account Registration & Authentication

You may register using email and password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Keep your credentials confidential and not share your account

  • Notify us at support@globymarissa.com if you suspect unauthorised access

  • Create only one personal account

4. The Service

GlobyMarissa provides:

  • Meal planning: personalised daily and weekly meal plans based on your goals and preferences

  • Calorie & nutrition tracking: food diary, macro tracking, and nutritional breakdowns

  • Step tracking: manual entry and optional sync with Apple Health or Google Fit

  • Progress monitoring: weight check-ins, measurements, progress photos, and trend charts

  • Wellness journaling: private daily journal for reflections and mood

  • Weekly meal plans: structured plans with recipes and shopping lists

  • Cookware & product links: curated recommendations and affiliate links to kitchen and wellness products

Features may vary. We reserve the right to modify or remove features with reasonable notice.

5. Billing & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date

  • Annual plans are billed upfront and are non-refundable after a 7-day window

  • Monthly plans: cancel anytime; access continues until end of billing period

  • In-app purchases via Apple or Google are subject to their respective billing and refund policies

  • Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription — cancel via Settings or contact support

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (journal entries, food logs, progress photos). You grant GlobyMarissa a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content for marketing without your written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data

  • Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the app

  • Share account credentials to bypass access controls

  • Use the Service for any unlicensed commercial purpose

8. Health Disclaimer

GlobyMarissa is a wellness tracking tool — not a medical service. Calorie targets, meal plans, and recommendations do not constitute medical advice. Do not use the app as a substitute for professional medical or nutritional guidance. We are not liable for health outcomes resulting from use of the Service.

9. Third-Party Links & Cookware

  • We may earn a commission on purchases made through affiliate links at no extra cost to you

  • Affiliate relationships do not influence our product recommendations

  • Purchases made via third-party links are subject to those retailers' own policies

  • We are not responsible for the quality or safety of third-party products

10. Intellectual Property

All app content — including design, meal plan templates, recipes, text, graphics, and software — is owned by GlobyMarissa and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind — including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that use of the app will achieve specific health or wellness goals.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlobyMarissa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including health outcomes, data loss, or loss of profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or USD $100.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, or non-payment. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide 30 days' notice and a pro-rated refund for any prepaid period.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GlobyMarissa is registered. Disputes will first be addressed informally via legal@globymarissa.com. If unresolved, binding arbitration applies, except where small claims court jurisdiction applies. EU/UK users retain all rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at globymarissa.com/terms.
